Great Valley Advisor Group (GVA) is celebrating another milestone in the growth of its advisor support platform: more than $2 billion in assets under management across the in-house investment models offered through GVA Asset Management (GVAAM), the firm’s asset management arm.

The achievement reflects the trust of GVA advisors and their clients, the expertise of its investment professionals, and the contributions of colleagues throughout the organization. It also demonstrates how GVA’s investment in people, technology, operations and compliance supports the resources advisors use to run and grow their practices.

One Firm. A Shared Commitment to Advisors.

GVA’s mission is to give independent advisors the infrastructure, resources and support to serve their clients while retaining control of their relationships and local practices.

That commitment extends across the firm, from operations and technology to compliance, onboarding, marketing and business strategy. GVA’s asset management offering is one part of that broader platform, providing advisors with access to proprietary research and professionally managed investment models.

Through GVAAM, advisors can spend less time on portfolio administration and more time working with clients. The offer brings together investment research, asset allocation, trading, rebalancing and ongoing communication within GVA’s advisor support infrastructure. Reaching $2 billion across these models is a meaningful milestone for the firm and an opportunity to recognize the people who helped make it possible.

Investment Expertise Within the GVA Platform

Based at GVA’s headquarters in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, the firm’s in-house investment team supports advisors with research, portfolio management and model implementation. Available strategies range from all-equity models, including Core Equity, Defensive Equity, Growth Equity and APEX Equity, to ETF and blend models spanning Conservative through Aggressive allocations. Advisors have access to these strategies through an all-in pricing structure with no additional ticket charges.

The investment process is supported by a committee that combines in-house professionals with experienced advisors from across GVA:

  • Evan Coffey, Chair of the Investment Committee
  • Eric B. Parnell, CFA, Vice Chair of the Investment Committee
  • John F. Satterfield, CFP®, Member of the Investment Committee
  • Nick Dalessandro, Senior Trader and Member of the Investment Committee
  • Paul Morrone, CFP®, CPA/PFS, MSA, Member of the Investment Committee
  • Ricardo J. Ferreira, Member of the Investment Committee

Together, they guide research, allocation decisions, rebalancing and trading oversight behind the models. Model-change communications and timely market bulletins also help advisors explain portfolio decisions to their clients. Interns and emerging professionals have contributed to equity research and supported the investment team along the way. Several current team members began their careers through those opportunities, reflecting GVA’s commitment to developing talent within the organization.

“Crossing $2 billion is a milestone GVAAM is incredibly proud of, and it reflects the hard work of our team and the entire GVA organization. We value and appreciate the immense trust advisors place in us to build investment solutions for their clients. We’re excited to build on this momentum, and our sights are already set on what’s next.”

— Evan Coffey, Chair of the Investment Committee

A Milestone Made Possible Across GVA

Supporting an investment offering at this scale requires contributions from across the firm. Every team plays a role in helping advisors access and use GVA’s resources effectively.

Advisors and their clients. This milestone begins with their trust. Advisors’ participation, feedback and representation on the Investment Committee help shape the offering around the needs of the practices and clients GVA serves.

Operations and onboarding. From welcoming new advisors and transitioning their practices to opening accounts, preparing paperwork and processing requests, these teams help turn available resources into practical support. Their accuracy and responsiveness make implementation easier for advisors and clients.

Technology. GVA’s investment in systems—including Orion Advisor Services and Salesforce with custodian data feeds that supports reporting, monitoring and communication. The technology team connects and maintains the tools that advisors and colleagues rely on every day.

Compliance. GVA’s compliance team supports oversight of investment activities, performance reporting and communications, helping the firm maintain the standards expected by advisors and their clients.

Business Strategy. Helping advisors understand the resources available through GVA and guide the firm’s priorities around where it can create additional value for their practices.

Leadership. Continued investment in infrastructure, people and technology has helped GVA expand its capabilities while maintaining its focus on advisor support.

Together, these contributions demonstrate the strength of GVA as an organization. The asset management milestone is one example of what that shared effort can achieve.

Continuing to Invest in Advisor Success

GVA will continue investing in the people, systems and capabilities that help advisors run efficient practices, strengthen client relationships and pursue growth. Within its asset management arm, that means continuing to develop research, refine investment models, strengthen technology and support advisor communication. Across the broader firm, it means improving how GVA’s resources work together to meet advisors’ evolving needs.

To the advisors, clients and colleagues who helped make this milestone possible: THANK YOU. Your trust and partnership continue to shape GVA’s growth.
