Featured speakers at the forum included Christopher Waller, a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and Alejandra Grindal, a Senior International Economist for the Ned Davis Research Group. The two-day panel explored cryptocurrency in depth, delving into cryptocurrency in the U.S. and abroad, regulations around crypto, the aftermath of the FTX collapse, and the current state of the global economy and geopolitics. The next GIC event we’re looking forward to is the GIC Teton Economic Outlook, taking place July 12th in Jackson Hole, WY. This one-day event will feature outlooks on global and local economy, financial markets, cryptocurrency, and the labor market.
