Spinelli, ChFC®, AIF® on June 7, 2023June 12, 2023 Great Valley Advisor Group’s COO, James Spinelli, and Chief Market Strategist, Eric Parnell, met with our advisors based in and around the Minneapolis, MN area. The purpose of the meeting was to share GVA’s latest developments and further enhancements that are currently being implemented, as well as those that are planned as we continue through 2023. James, Eric, and approx. 20 of our esteemed advisors enjoyed a delicious lunch, followed by a wine tasting and cheese pairing at CoV Wayzata. CoV is located along the beautiful shores of Lake Minnetonka combining Midwest comfort and hospitality with the unmistakable allure of the Hamptons. GVA strives to fuel growth and collaboration for our advisor partners, we look to support their efforts as entrepreneurs. As such, during the presentation portion we shared recent enhancements (summarized below), and we also took time to listen to feedback from our advisors, we want to know “what do YOU need to better support YOUR business?” and “how can GVA best assist?” We appreciated the candid discussion and will take the insights provided to improve our programs moving forward. Discussed topics included: GVA Asset Management: Eric Parnell provided a timely economic and market update. He then reviewed our revamped Asset Management portfolio strategies available to advisors. The GVAAM team offers a sophisticated wealth management platform, along with comprehensive modern services, and a dedicated support team. During the meeting Eric reviewed performance, as well as services before taking questions and listening to ideas and suggestions. Collaboration & Growth Strategies: GVA strives to be at the forefront of the movement to advisor independence and does so by staying in the know on industry and competitor updates and trends. Our research and knowledge allow us to provide a spectrum of tools, support, and resources to meet each of our advisors where they are in terms of their goals for practice growth. During the meeting we encouraged and listed to shared learning among advisors, and reveled in seeing fellow advisors meet and discuss initiatives – this is the heart of GVA. GVA Communications: Our marketing and asset management teams have been working together to increase visibility and awareness not only for GVA, but in turn for our DBA practices as well. GVA is actively navigating carious strategies to drive awareness and growth through written articles, media appearances, panel participation, feature interview opportunities, special event support and more. GVA Compliance & Next Steps: And finally, we reviewed the latest on the Compliance front and a preview on what GVA is working to deliver next to its advisor network in 2023.
